Mods:

Power LED:
Easy mod, can install any color you like, or a color changing LED, like this one.
The one in the pic at the top is hidden into the power slider switch and is only visible when the unit is turned on!

$5 for single color LED.
$7 for color changing LED.

Composite video:
The SMS2 is real easy to mod for a better video output, composite.
For $25 i'll instal the composite mod and hook up the red and white jacks for easy stereo hookup as well.
S-video is supposed to be almost as easy as composite, if you're really interested let me know and i'll try it out.

Component video:
Since the SMS2 is an RGB capable console, a component output mod is on my list of mods to try.

Remote Pause:
I found a mod for installing a button on the controller for pausing the game, so you won't have to get up and push the pause button on the console!
I want to change the NES remote reset mod for use on the SMS systems so pushing 3 or 4 buttons at once will initiate pause instead of modding the controller as well.
